Rembang, July 24, 2023 – PT Semen Gresik worked in synergy with PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) as its holding company to organize Half Year Regional Summit 2023 with strategic distributors across Regional 4 at Hotel Tentrem Semarang, the theme of the activity was “To Be the Winner”.

The summit was attended by SIG’s Director of Business and Marketing Subhan and PT Semen Gresik’s President Director Muchamad Supriyadi.

The Director of Business and Marketing of SIG, Subhan, explained that the activity was organized to enhance the companies’ synergy, perform evaluation, and display an appreciation of performance achievements during the 1st semester of 2023.

“The agenda is also a means of sharing and discussion between the companies and the distributors in order to achieve sales targets in accordance with devised plans,” he said.

Subhan expected that collaboration and synergy in implementing sales strategies in the 2nd semester of 2023 could maximize the power of the distributor's and channels' infrastructure and implement programs that would bring shared benefits.

Meanwhile, the President Director of PT Semen Gresik, Muchamad Supriyadi, explained that the Half Year Regional Summit 2023 activity was a valuable medium for the distributors across Regional 4 to gain insight and best strategies in order to map the market’s competition in 2023.

“According to the data of the 1st semester of 2023, PT Semen Gresik has successfully achieved in a periodic manner a positive trend of increase for the release of bagged and bulk cement until the end of the 2nd quarter of 2023,” he said in his press release.

According to him, the increased market demand in 2023 became a key factor and an opportunity the companies needed to seize and maximize to increase production performance and operational excellence.
